| Mark has post-graduate degrees in
Sociology (MA with distinction) and Research &
Evaluation (MSc). He is a very experienced evaluation
practitioner with a special interest in health,
social care, education, regeneration, restorative
justice and social inclusion initiatives. Mark currently
serves as the President of the UK Evaluation Society
and is a member of the European Evaluation Society
and the UK Public Health Association. |

Julia Kaufmann,
Consultant and Facilitator |

| Julia has extensive experience of
parenting, family and voluntary sector issues having
been the founding Director of the BBC Children in
Need Appeal (1987 – 00) and the Chief Executive
of Gingerbread, the association for one-parent families
(1979- 87). Julia is currently a part time Commissioner
for the postal services regulator, Postcomm and
serves as a trustee for two national charities.
Julia specialises in evaluation, capacity building
and organisational consultancy for the voluntary
sector. |

Winnie Ssanyu-Sseruma, Research
and Evaluation Officer

| Winnie has a degree in Sociology
and has experience of conducting research in a variety
of health programmes and Sure Start initiatives,
including facilitating a number of parent-led peer
evaluations intitiatives. Winnie is an experienced
focus group moderator and has a depth of experience
in conducting street interviews with BME communities.
She is currently the Chair of the African HIV Policy
Network and was the recipient of the 1st Terrence
Higgins Trust Award for Outstanding Community Leader
in 2002. |

affairs, Tony contributes his extensive experience
in database management and statistical analysis
using SPSS. |
